Immunisation Awareness Event 23rd April 2019

Pearl Medical Centre organised an event on the importance of immunisations for the Romanian community at Ward End Library.

The event had a good turn out and the patients who attended felt that it was informative and would like to continue having meetings to increase patient education. The importance of being up to date on immunisations was highlighted, especially for children, as this gives protection against a range of serious and potentially fatal diseases. Vaccinations are the most effective public health intervention for saving lives and promoting good health.
